The Ultimate Reason Why So Many People Fail at Internet Marketing
A recent online survey asked people to comment on why so many people fail at internet marketing. One person said that it is because they don't take action, while another said, they take action too quickly. Another commented that they learn the wrong stuff from the wrong people. Another suggested that they are not committed to their business. In the same light another said that they do not treat their business like a business. There were many other responses, but these few reflect the nature of the responses of the many.
One blog post speculates that people fail at internet marketing because they fail to plan and they fail to work the plan. Another article suggests that there is one reason and one reason only that people fail at internet marketing and that is that they fail to act!
With the technology available today, we still have to ask, "Why do so many people fail at internet marketing?" Prior to the internet, when multilevel marketing was beginning to flourish, building a home business was exhausting. You had to find people in your community to sign up. You were somewhat limited to people you actually knew, unless you were brave enough to prospect at your local mall. You had to buy products and stock them in your garage. You had to go to meetings several times a month and drag people with you who really had no interest in going. Seriously, building a business back then was a big deal! Nevertheless there were a lot of people who got "hog nasty rich" in the industry. There were also tons of people who failed at building a home business.
With the advent of the internet building a home business has been greatly simplified. Almost every aspect of building an internet business can be done from the comfort of your home, in your pajamas if you prefer. YouTube is there to answer virtually every question that you have about building an internet business. There are marketing experts who have blazed a trail to success and they have left really valuable bread crumbs for those who are struggling to follow. All of that and so much more, yet a whopping 95% of the people who start out to build a business still fail at internet marketing
While the reasons for internet marketing failures mentioned in the first paragraphs are all good, I think there is a deeper reason to consider. When you think about it, if a person really wants to do something, they will find a way to do it, if they want it badly enough. A person with a burning passion to do something does not throw out excuses for why they missed the mark. They note the reason for their failed effort and they give it another shot. They keep doing this until they have exhausted all of their resources, and then they try again. A person with a burning drive to win will overcome every obstacle and they will not rest until they hit the mark.
Let me leave you with a few questions to ponder. Have you ever failed at internet marketing? Are you failing now in the internet marketing industry? If so, let me ask you this, what is the burning passion that got you into this business? What is at stake if you fail in your online marketing business? There is really nothing else to be said, think about the questions. Write about them from the deepest part of your being. If you find that your passion burns deep, yet you still have failed to succeed online, then I have just one piece of advice for you. Try Again! Here's to Your Success!

Posters: An Important Part Of The Marketing Process
Is there still a valid space for posters in a company's marketing plan? The results suggest that this option is still viable and may produce unexpected results. Everyone is looking to get the attention of consumers. While social media, websites, and other online devices are being used, don't overlook the important role that paper still plays.
Stand Out From the Rest:
When a company's advertisement is posted online, it is set up to compete with several other different advertisements all at the same time. It can be overwhelming for a consumer to come to a give page only to find a variety of companies seeking out his or her attention. In some instances it can backfire with a customer refusing to check out any of the advertisements and quickly moving away from the page.
Posters tend to take up a lot of real estate and they have much less competition on any given wall. Here the information stands out and has the opportunity to capture a person's attention. Depending on the size of the poster and the contents, it is possible to draw in people that are merely walking or driving by.
Making the Less Popular Choice:
As everyone moves to get the word out about their businesses online, there are fewer companies utilizing posters. This means that people who choose to stick with some of the more traditional marketing outlets become front and center as the others leave. It is becoming more unusual to see a poster for a company or sale, and so when someone walks by one, he or she tends to notice it.
Get Everyone's Attention:
Companies spend millions of dollars every year searching for their target audience. They want to know exactly who will buy their product or use their services. Some advertising and marketing needs to be directed to this specific group. Posters on the other hand are visible to everyone. This means that a person that may not have fit into the ideal demographic still has the opportunity to come in and participate in the sale. Instead of a small and specific group, a large group is included. The cost is the same but any number of people can walk by and make a purchasing decision.
Marketing sometimes requires that a company take a risk. While you want to reach out to the right people that are more likely to buy your product or service, don't overlook the opportunity to put out posters that stand out from the rest, have more room to shine, and get the attention of a large group of people all at one time.
Learn The Online Secrets That Give Me Money Daily
If someone were to approach you and asked you to give them money, what would be your first reaction? No doubt, the first response many would probably give is to ask; "Why should I?" If they didn't want cause any hurt, then perhaps a polite "I don't have any" would be their better response. Then again, think about this. If you never ask for money, how do you suppose you would get it?
Certainly, it's not as simple as just going up to someone and asking them to give you money. What if it was though? After all, there is a practice on the internet known as cyber begging. Don't be put off though, that's not what I am planning to share with you. However, there is a secret I am about to reveal that is as simple as walking up to someone and asking them to give you money.
Usually people give money in exchange for something of value. Value is relative to what they need and what is being offered, right? What if you had something valuable that someone needed badly? Definitely it would be easy to ask for money just by saying; "I'll give this to you and in exchange, you give me money." The person that wants what you have to offer, will be more than happy to give you the money you request for. You're probably thinking to yourself at this point; "Well yeah, it's called selling". What's the difference then between selling and trading? I'll answer it straight up... there's none.
I came to the understanding a while back that it is easier to receive money or ask for it, when you separate your emotions from it. If you have no emotional attachment to money, it is no big deal when you get or spend it. It's funny how most people believe that making money is difficult. If you were to approach people and ask them to give you money, they'll probably think you were crazy. However, it wouldn't be the same reaction if you had something they wanted.
So the question now is; "What is it that most people want more of?" The answer is just as simple. Most people want more money. Ok, I am not saying I would... neither should you say; "Give me money and in exchange I'll give you money". That's not what we are referring to here. Ever heard of this old saying? "Give a man a fish, and you would have fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you would have fed him for a lifetime." Get it? Your asking someone for money, would be your offering to teach them how to get more the same money they are parting with.
The internet as we know it today, is very instrumental to finding ways of earning money. Once you have established the niche you would want to follow, it is just a question of time and proficiency. Then you can begin to find students for your fishing lessons, to impart the knowledge and expertise you would have acquired.

Website Marketing: Practical Layout Tips
In the creative realm, visual ideas and good design matter most. This goes hand in hand with website design as well, only this time, you're coupling those concepts with concrete information in the effort to boost sales, promote your product and your brand, and in general, make your website work for you. Here are some ways to make life easier for the reader to take in your message, whether it be on a magazine ad, an ad on your website, or your website as a whole.
Use easy to read typefaces. Most newspapers are set in serif type. Serifs the little feet that are found at the bottom of letters that line up to keep the eye moving horizontally along the line, rather than straying below to the next line. A study has also found that using sans-serif type on a regular space reduced comprehension from 67 to 12 percent! The eye also recognizes shapes more than letters and a word in all capitals has less shape than the word in caps and lower case. The eye also finds it tiring to read reversed out type in any great volume. 'Reversed out' refers to the setting of the text in a light color, and then putting it against a dark or high contrasting background. Reversing out has been known to halve response. So, learn to use sans-serif, capitals and reversing out in moderation.
Just as reversed out type is difficult to read, type set over tints or textures or colors is even more difficult to read, because it does not stand out that clearly. Equally, very small type is not a good idea. Lots of people can't read it very easily. This goes for being consistent with the typeface you use throughout, and don't change typefaces unnecessarily. Constant changes in typeface are ugly and imply an immaturity in the design process. Our eyes don't like constantly having to readjust.
Use narrow measure. You will notice that on newspapers and magazines that the words are set in narrow columns. That is because the eye likes to travel down the center of a column rather than having to go back and forth along one large column all the time. Similarly, long, unbroken blocks of text are hard to read. Simply put, big blocks of type are daunting. For this reason, you should break up your copy with lots of crossheads, sub headers, or images. These make your content more approachable and interesting to look at. It also enables the reader to learn the essence of your message from the subsidiary headings, which boosts their comprehension and encourage them to read further.
Justify your columns. Comprehension goes down if the edges of columns are ragged, that is to say, unjustified. Once again, this is simply because the eye has to work harder. Also, minimize your use of large headings. Art directors love them, but people do not generally read your website from across the room. Large headings are oftentimes, a waste of space, and more importantly, a waste of time.
Remember that first impressions last, and this is also very true for websites. Your layout and your choice of typeface contribute heavily to your website's impression on your visitors, so consider them very, very well.

Use Caution Making Money Online
If you're like me you have some fairly unique experiences that you take for granted. Those experiences mean that you can share information with others that may never have occurred to them. By sharing some of my experiences I hope to enlighten you so that you can avoid mistakes that could cost your business a lot of money.
I grew up in a family with people who regularly gambled. My dad played poker regularly and I remember a couple times saying good night when the poker game was going on. I also remember getting up in the morning for school and when my dad and his buddies noticed me they decided to quit their poker game and go to work!
We also went to the racetrack as Del Mar was just a few miles away from our Encinitas, California home. I think I made my first bet at the "track" at age 12. I looked older than my age and I'm also guessing that they didn't really want to waste time asking me for a driver's license. They wanted my money and to be able to get on to the next bettor.
Do people online operate that way? Do they just want your money and then they'll move on to the next "bettor"? Some people in life operate that way. Online and offline. That doesn't mean that everyone does. It's important to remember that there are honest people as well as dishonest ones. Also, some aren't dishonest so much as they are incompetent for what they are doing. Then there are those who are taught intentionally inaccurate information by dishonest people, but they believe the person who taught them. They may then go on to teach inaccurate information themselves all the while believing that the information is true. What if that student then goes on to teach that same inaccurate information? They probably don't even have a connection to the original dishonest person and are simply learning from someone who was unknowingly deceived.
My guess is that many of us have found ourselves in the last group at one time or another. How can you avoid this?
What follows is one scenario that might not have occurred to you.
You receive an email that says you can get the same information that others have used to win seven football bets in a row. This service will sell you next week's **Special** pick for $40. You read over the letter carefully and wonder if this is true. How can they be so accurate? It certainly looks legitimate. (I know some will assume that it's not legitimate SIMPLY BECAUSE it involves gambling, but don't miss the lesson. It's important NOT to let preconceived ideas get in the way of real learning.)
You think about how much you have available to bet and decide that you can spare $400. They have 3000 satisfied customers who have won seven times in a row! So you think, if I bet this "sure thing" I'll get back hundreds of dollars and it will only cost me $40. Too good to be true? Maybe.
Before I go any further, let me point out that not all sites related to gambling are the same. Many will give you an honest deal. Whether or not someone should gamble is a matter of opinion about which there is a wide chasm of disagreement. Also, some people are terrible with numbers and that can work against you in gambling.
This is an example of how someone can be scamming you and I'll talk about how this can apply to business later.
So how can they be telling the truth about having 3000 customers who have won seven bets in a row? Is it too late to get in on this deal? Hold the phone.
First, remember that the internet has billions of people on it. Even conservative estimates put the number of internet users over a billion. Twitter is closing in on 200 million accounts. Facebook has almost a billion users by itself.
Let's say that someone did a really great job and has a huge email list of 500,000 people. And they have ads that run on many websites so that they can get a large number of responses.
If they get 192,000 people to pay for their service they can then tell half of them to pick the San Diego Chargers to beat the Green Bay Packers in week 1. The other half are told to bet on Green Bay. Maybe they give away their service for free to all those week 1 customers. For our example it doesn't matter.
Because there are only two teams playing in a football game there are only two possible winners. When they give half their customers one team and the other half the opponent of that team, they are guaranteed to have 96,000 winners.
So 96,000 people participate in week 2. Half of them receive Team A as the pick and half of them are told that Team B will win. Again, half of their customers are guaranteed to win.
Then 48,000 people receive the winner in week 3 and 48,000 are told to bet the loser.
At the beginning of week 4 there are still 48,000 people who haven't lost a bet.
At the beginning of week 5 there are still 24,000 people who have won every week.
At the beginning of week 6 there are still 12,000 people who have won every week.
So at the beginning of week 7 there are 6,000 people who have won every single week.
Finally, at the beginning of week 8 - when they contact you - they have THREE THOUSAND people who have won SEVEN TIMES IN A ROW!
We could break it down further. I'm sure that many people would have been very happy to win 6 out of 7 games or even 5 out of 7. Some might be hoping for better results in the future after winning 4 out of 7 bets or even 3 out of 7.
Life and business are not always as simple as football games. Sometimes there are more than two options (or more than two possible winners).
Hopefully you see how someone could be fooled by an offer like this.
What if someone said that the pick was guaranteed or your money back? Or maybe they guarantee you your money back within 7 days or even 30 or 60 or 90 days?
What if someone says they have this incredible software to sell you? Could they use a system similar to the one described above?
If they sell 800 orders at $2000 apiece that's ONE MILLION SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!
What if people don't follow through in time?
I used to have a neighbor who did the sound system for seminars. He knew of this one seminar where they sold all these services to business owners for around $195. There were a lot of different things included and I asked how they could sell it so cheaply.
He told me that 2/3 of the business owners left the seminar and then never followed through to get the services they had bought. The seminar company knew that on average nearly 7 out of 10 of these business owners would simply spend money and not contact the company again once they left the seminar and got busy back home with their business.
Human beings are imperfect.
Have you ever not gotten a refund or a rebate or money back somehow because you didn't take action within the time allowed? Or because you didn't fill out the rebate form correctly?
If someone didn't take action in time they probably wouldn't get a refund. So it's likely they would be counted among the SATISFIED customers.
If the software company selling software for $2000 gave refunds to half their customers they would still have EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS.
And if they gave refunds to 90% of their customers they would still have $160,000.
Is it possible that 10% of their customers had more skill than the other customers or got lucky with their particular business?
Is it possible that 2% of their customers got lucky or had more skill and that 8% of them simply didn't ask for a refund in time?
I'm not saying that deception must be what is going on. I'm simply saying that it's possible.
Be careful when you buy into money making opportunities.
Ask around. Visit forums. Google the opportunity.
Don't just be the next "bettor".

Defining Privacy in Today's Internet Based Era
As we continue to create an online world the protection of privacy has become a hot topic amongst tech companies, politicians and the general public. The concern for protecting privacy has become a source of tension and anxiety amongst companies who rely on large amounts of data such as Google and Facebook. The fact of the matter is that it's rather disturbing to think that a company is monitoring your every move on the internet and has stockpiles of information about you, for lack of a better word it's rather creepy. People question if this gradual collapse of privacy is leading us to build a society most of us would rather not be a part of.
The fact of the matter is that we live in a highly networked society meaning we are constantly putting information about ourselves out there for the world to see. That being said privacy is in no way a universal or timeless concept. The term privacy changes based on who you are using the term in regards to and/or the beliefs of the society at large. This is easily demonstrated by the different meanings each society has given the word. In some countries a woman's face is a private matter, only to be revealed to a select few, in other countries women can reveal vast portions of their bodies. In some social groups sexuality is something to be publicly celebrated while in others it is to be kept private and is deemed inappropriate to discuss. Thus privacy should not be equated with the notions of security or anonymity. Privacy should be thought of as the ability to define oneself as one likes given your surrounding environment, unfortunately this is something that nobody really has power over anymore.
When we choose to converse with somebody in a public spot our conversation is private in the sense that it's only between two people but public because we've chosen to carry the conversation in a place where people can see and over here. On the internet our conversations are public because the internet is so closely monitored by big companies despite our efforts to converse privately. While individuals have attempted to take measures to keep themselves private by only releasing some information, deleting accounts and creating them under different names, or by obscuring the truth, their efforts will likely not be enough.
Everyone in the industry believes that some form of regulation is coming and is likely coming rather soon. The real question is what will the regulations look like. Ideally all those involved will strive to reach a level of total understanding of internet usage and data usage in order to allow individuals to use the internet as they please and in order to allow internet based companies to remain largely successful while still allowing individuals to control what information is released.

Online Business - Read More About It
Creating a business is always a headache but the online world has opened up several new opportunities for business. Major among all is the website which may be used to advertise one's products and this is perhaps the most common form of online business accordingly. Care should be taken in the creation of a website as this will also mean that your product will be showcased to the highest possible levels and also shows that your business is visible to those visitors who wish to purchase products from your company or operation.
Online business is also important in the form of social networking sites where the creation of a blog can also be termed to be an online business. A blog, if properly written and attractive to many will generate advertising, at first in small quantities but if this is properly managed, the blog will most certainly be a window of opportunity for vast expansion in this field. Sites like ProBlogger have made millions after building up their websites to vast proportions and this has undoubtedly attracted a large number of advertisers which have made the website a huge winner and full of potential for the internet customer.
Another sure fire winner in the online business is the sport betting site where a huge number of clients visit these sites and create a vast amount of traffic with hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars played on particular games. Visitors to these sites generate a huge amount of traffic accordingly and this means that the website will have potential to attract advertisers also. The design of the site is also crucial to attract customers as this will eventually mean that new clients will come into the pipeline and into the equation.
In fact another important aspect for online business is actually web design. This means that a number of talented designers will come up with designs and ideas for a site and will then implement them using the latest state of the art design software. With such a cut throat level of competition out there, the importance of a finely and well-designed site is not only crucial but essential to attract the right type of business accordingly. However not all sites are well made or tailor made for online business so a certain amount of tweaking is required to make these intrinsically viable accordingly. One must also not that websites which are badly designed usually fall by the wayside and do not have much of a future while those which are eventually end up to be a huge success and are also at the top level for privatisation purposes.
Online business is a crucial part of our component in today's business model and business world so it is crucially important that this is tapped accordingly. Finally one has to remember that almost half of today's sales are made through the internet so with such a vast market at one's disposal, online business is most definitely the way forward in every regard.

Why Some People Can Really Make Money Online Fast and Why Some Can't
It is a true fact that more and more people are getting involved in online businesses. However, not everyone is successful. Many of the small business owners do not manage to generate income at all from the internet. Why can some people create wealth fast while others fail? I am here to share with you some common online marketing mistakes that people tend to make.
In general, many new comers do not spend their time doing proper research before they start up their online businesses. They just simply choose the products or services they like to sell without finding out the real market demand. They don't check who their competitors are and how many of them are in the market. This is dangerous because you are not able to know whether you can gain any market share or not. Furthermore, you may not be able to highlight to your potential customers that your products or services are so different from others.
Please bear in mind that having a proper domain name with nicely designed website is not sufficient. The secret of success lies on the content of the site. Google will never rank the websites based on how nice their designs are but the websites' contents. Many online business owners fail to come out with strong promotional statements and as a result, they get very less visitors surfing their sites. I would say spending a lot of money to build a website with flash animations is not cost effective if the site is not marketing-centric. Your website may have all the functions which allow visitors to shop online and perform online transactions. But you have to make sure that there are visitors at the first place, right?
Now, the question here is what is considered a high quality content?
Being an online business owner, it is extremely important for you to understand the concept of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You need to produce original content with strong key words. At the same time, you are advised not to duplicate your SEO content and submit it to different sites multiple times. Even the content is built by you and it is not a cut and paste job, search engines will still recognize this as spam.
Dear online business owners,
There is no short cut for you to create huge wealth if you don't apply the right strategy. You need to have patience as well. Seriously speaking, even if you have created good content, you may not be able to see obvious results immediately. In order to get listed in the search engines, it may take up longer duration, say about 2 months.
To sum up, managing online business is challenging but full with fun. My advice here is never give up when you fail to make money fast. Find out the root cause of your failure and fix the problem. It is not wrong to learn from people. Adopt the best practices in the industry and you will definitely achieve great success soon.

Will a Home Online Business Really Make You Money?
This is a question that is often asked -
Can you really make any money from having an online 'work-from-home' business?"
Well the basic answer is 'yes', but it does go a bit deeper than that.
Many people are making money from the internet - but if you want to make a reasonable amount of money, so that you can eventually cut down on the hours at the day job or give it up entirely, you do have to treat your online home business as a real business.
What this means is that it will need investment, it will need time and you have to realise that there will be ups and downs along the way. If you opened a traditional 'bricks and mortar' store, in the middle of a busy town but you had no window display, or you were closed when most people were shopping, or you were not really sure what yo were even trying to sell and to whom, it is going to be pretty difficult to make any money
The same applies to an online business. You cannot just set up a website, find a few products to sell that will appeal to different types of people and hope that these people will come and buy from you - because they won't.
If you treat your online home business like a hobby - that is what it will be. Yes, you might make a few sales here and there but if you are not fully committed you will not earn much.
As with any business, you have to have a clear idea of what you are selling, who you are selling it to and why they should buy it from you instead of somebody else. You have to know if there is a demand for your product in the marketplace, you have to provide it a price that gives the buyer a huge amount of value, so that he comes back for more.
As a starting point, there are three basic elements that your online business should have to help you make money online.
You will need to be able to generate commission from affiliate sales. This means selling a product or service on behalf of somebody else, who will pay you a commission when you sell that product to a third party. This is a great starting point when you set up your online business, as you do not have to buy any stock and there are so many different products and services available that your choice is almost limitless - the tricky bit is knowing which ones to sell.
The second important element is recurring income. Basically, this means selling something once and they your customer pays for it every month - until they don't want it anymore. For example, this could be for a membership scheme or a service contract. Here the key is to ensure that you maintain a good level of service and value that the customer does not go elsewhere and stop paying you.
Finally, the third element is a 'high ticket' item. These are products or services that pay you a commission in excess of $1,000 per sale. These items do take time and skill to sell, but the reward is definitely worth it!
Making money online is possible, but you do need a solid business model, a clear direction and determination.

What Is Your Internet Marketing Plan?
Internet Marketing, what a great Business to be in, not to offend anyone, but basically you can be a bum on the street, and happen to come across a laptop and about $50 bucks and boom you in business, okay I know it doesn't happen like that but you get my drift, I hope. With that said, I have to tell up front that success in this industry is based on you having an internet marketing plan of some sort.
You have to have some sort of idea of what you want to do, and how you go about achieving your goal. You see I can tell you from personal experience that if you don't have a plan or goal, you in for some tough times, and you are going to be wasting lots of time and money trying to figure out whats going wrong, or why your not making any money.
For a really long time I wasn't making any money... man, I tried this program and that one, I read tons of ebooks, I bought lots of courses, more ebooks, I did this over and over, for a few years, do you know how expensive that was? (very). There are lots of people who have done this, and hundreds more doing this right now, and it's all because they don't have a plan to follow.
Basically these people think they know what their doing, but they don't, their wandering around in the dark, or just spinning their wheels.
For anyone who is just getting into this business, I'm going to tell you right now 3 things you can do to avoid losing lots of your of time and money, in vain...
1. Find a marketing program that you have investigated and you know it is workable.
2. Find a product that people are buying, or better yet, find a solution to a problem and market that.
3. Drive traffic- Find or seek out a proven plan to drive traffic to your offer or website and, STICK WITH IT!
Yes, after you find what you need and you know it's right for you, stick to your plan, you are going to hear this again somewhere, you need to have faith in what you are doing or you won't get very far. I used to go from one thing to another never really focusing on any one program always jumping off to something that I though was better, or easier.
You know what? I want say something here... I think that if you take any legitimate marketing program and send lots of traffic to it on a consistent basis, I think you will always make money, it's in the consistency. Internet Marketing is a business like any other, don't make that mistake, it's not a game or a hobby it's a real business.
If you are having a hard time making money online and you have been at it for quite some time, take a step back and take a good look at what you have been doing, are you playing games, not giving 100% effort, if you want to become successful at this business your going to need an internet marketing plan, and you going to need to treat this as a real business, otherwise all of your efforts will be for nothing.
